Through guided hands-on projects, students will learn the fundamentals of jewelry making with an emphasis in silversmithing. Get to know the studio and become more familiar with the tools and equipment as you explore skills such as sawing, filing, soldering, piercing, polishing, & setting round cabochon stones. With technical instruction and your creativity, you will complete smaller practice projects and end with one final silver ring project that combines all the techniques learned. This is a great class for anyone that’s gotten a taste of jewelry making and wants to take it a step further or for complete newbies who are ready to commit and learn a new craft. Students receive free open studio time during the duration of their class along with 3 practice passes to use after the class ends. This class is limited to 5 students to ensure every student receives adequate attention. Tools and most materials will be supplied. Please be sure to read our class cancellation policy below before registering.

Materials Included: one 3x3” of sterling silver sheet, copper & brass sheets for samples. Additional metal available for purchase in studio.
